Due to some limitations in the internet explorer software a major company in Redmon, WA distributes, some otherwise automatic re-loading and forwarding web pages just do not work. In order to overcome the limitations that this company places on some systems and servers, this particular web page has been created.
For most non-ie/non-windoze systems, this page is never seen. They will all go merrily on their way to the target site. In your case, you are caught in the snafu this company has perpetrated on you, keeping you from automagically being forwarded to the site you actually need to go to.
